Saw my last track posted was a Christmas song and it's now the end of May. I have been recording, here's a demo I put together in February. Proper recording of this is on the list of things to do.

Love Song Demo

A dark and stormy take on a Beach Boys classic. With an electronic interpretation in tribute to the harmony masters, this production walks a line between the beautiful and sinister; from ethereal soundscapes to an explosive chorus.

The original has always been a huge influence and Wilson's use of harmony within his music is incredible. I wanted to stay true to the masterpiece but perform within a dark and stormy context. Vibrations became explosions with this alternative take on a surfing classic. 

I nurtured the idea in the studio, using synths and wails, to create something unsuspecting and unusual, making sure I gave musical salutes to the original in arrangement.

The Snow Lantern

This song evolved from a piano piece about a couple in need of reparation. When recording there was a reverb on the vocal that held my attention and I just wanted to experiment with different soundscapes. The synths added such a drive later on in the song and allowed for great fun recording the vocals in homage to some 80's classics. 'Sorry' is being released officially on platforms on 1st July 2022, in line with a wonderfully retro show finale.

A cinematic interpretation of a classic from The Police. We wanted to give this beloved song a fresh twist while keeping its nostalgic spirit intact.
When we recorded "Walking on The Moon," we aimed to create an enchanting experience that transports you to a dreamy sonic landscape.

Starting with a delicate piano, accompanied by strings and a chilling drone effect, the track then lifts into an expansive soundscape with a resonant drum and synth, reflecting a darker interpretation of the lyrics. This rendition interestingly aligns more with Johnny Cash's original intention for the song to be a romantic ballad before his record company suggested the song be cut as an upbeat single release.

I Walk The Line

The single is an emotive ode to the festive period experienced in the absence of a loved one. Reflecting the cold realisation of facing Christmas alone.

'Spectrum' by SAER is an emotive Indie Electropop-Rock single, paying homage to the world of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Stemming from SAER's personal experiences and his background in special education, the song is a poignant narrative reflecting both challenges and triumphs associated with ASD.

The track combines indie rock-pop and electropop elements, creating a mid-tempo blend of synth and guitar that echoes the emotional spectrum of ASD. SAER's compelling guitar riffs and melodious vocals paint a picture of understanding and empathy. The song is not just a musical piece but a journey into the heart of ASD experiences.

Disruptor was created with people in mind, that cannot cope with things going well, being contented and with an inner self-destruct mechanism to sever connections. Usually being the exact ties that person needs. Whether it is a feeling of not deserving what is in front you or a sense of power to flick off a switch. In a swift moment whatever has been built and no matter how much has been invested it is gone. Disruptor is a plea and a warning. It hints upon a hope to change but shares an underlying gravity to disorder.

This song is a personal one about being next to my Father's bedside in his last moments. The lyrics talk of how emotions can to and fro from humour and sadness, about wanting things to change for the better but a wish for a return to previous happier times. The song finishes talking of how his grandchild will know who he is and memories will live on. The song is simple and heartfelt in its production and delivery with just piano and voice.
