Rated XTC is a love project showcasing work from some of our favorite artists across the globe who keep reinventing and redefining what Hard Dance music can be or sound like.
For us, opening space for a brand new hard queer generation in Lisbon has been quite the challenge in face of growing gentrification and antagonism to our vision from some corners of the scene. This music compilation, apart from being a way for us to share a piece of ourselves with the rest of the world, emerges as a fundraiser for our future events, productions and even music label affairs! A world filled with intense emotions, raw energy, and powerful feelings; it's an experience that pulls you into its fiery core.

Imagine crossing the threshold of a portal, where the air crackles with energy and blue flames dance around, inviting you deeper. These flames represent the dynamic, exciting nature of the music. At the portal's peak, a blue spider stands guard, a symbol of Heatcore, linking back to the album's fiery essence.

The landscape surrounding this portal is rugged and untamed, mirroring the aggressive and hardcore elements of the tracks. The sharp, towering stones add a sense of mystery and danger, shrouded in heavy fog that hints at the unknown depths of the album.

ENTER THE HEAT is an invitation to feel, to experience, and to lose yourself in a sonic journey like no other. I hope it resonates with you as deeply as it does with me.

[GiBS031] Coafis - Beautiful Place

Coafis is a female producer from Aachen and a member of the queer, anti-fascist gabber collective "Autonomous Gabbers".  Upon hearing her first Thundercome CD in 1997, her heart immediately belonged to hardcore. The early roots and her love for millennium hardcore are also reflected in her tracks. 

The world seems to be getting darker and darker in recent years. With "Beautiful Place" she wants to remind us of how beautiful life can be and that it's worth fighting for. Uplifting synth lines and melodies meet power kicks that will take you on a wild ride.

Coafis produced the track to spread the message: "The world is a beautiful place". We are incredibly happy to present you this empowering tune on GIB.
