The Maiden of the Matrix is the first track Kita and Maude Vôs have written together in 7 years. Prior to their solo projects they produced music together for a number of years as a duo. Rewinding even further back, “Kita and I met on a dance floor over 10 years ago and were instantly soul bonded. She was my first real collaborator and mentored me through the beginning of my production journey. She continues to inspire me to find my voice, dig into my well of experience and to ground into what feels aligned with my soul purpose”. Kita has lived in Bali for the last 5 years, as a sound healer at the Temples of Chi. “Although life has pulled us sonically and physically in different directions, this song reflects our continued connection over the past decade”. The Maiden of the Matrix more specifically delves into unity through community especially in the chaos of the world. During these times we must continue to open our hearts, and show up meaningfully; this will be the remedy, the anchor and the expander.

Shimmering with metallic warmth, fluid melodies, and dark tension, Maude Vôs’ productions and live performances are marked by an infectious energy and multifaceted enthusiasm for creating and connecting. Channeling the organic flow of a studio wired with a panoply of hardware gear, the Los Angeles-based artist has cultivated a growing catalog of distinctive releases and remixes alongside their professional work as a sound designer and composer. As a DJ, their sparkling, psychedelic mixes are filled with lush atmospheres, whispered vocals, and synthesizer music of all genres. Vôs appears in the book Patch and Tweak with Korg (Bjooks, 2022), was recently named an artist to watch by DJ Mag, and has been featured by SPIN Magazine and Perfect Circuit. Dynamic and deeply felt, their creativity shines with an optimistic, expansive vision of mutual exchange and soul connection. 

Step into the Maude Vôs matrix full of booming, breathtaking bass and echoing melodies, complete with vicious flows and rolling rhythms that’ll have you ready for more. This is one of those projects that makes you melt right from the start. This is one of those “yeah this is my personality now” kind of projects. Manila Killer Float is an uplifting bubbly dancehall thing with a Vybz Kartel acapella chopped up and sprinkled on top. Tried to fight gravity and catch the last summer breeze with the beat floating on those airy pads – and of course celebrating the release from prison of the World Boss.

Slippery Ruff is the chugger-town cousin of Slippery Tuff, from INDEX:records EP I Lost All My Data. I took the bpm down from 120 to 90 and ruff‘d it up with some extra dust and bass weight for good measure.

In the last few years, Miami has transformed into a hotbed of raw talent and one of its hallmarks is SEL.6, who also happens to be one of the finest artists originally out of Broward County. Jumpstarting her career with the widely revered and self-released Desire series and initiated into Miami’s scene via Space Tapes, the label that launched some of Miami’s most prized and internationally recognized dance music artists; she has woven herself into the fabric of the city’s underground telling the story of her Floridian identity and giving beauty and finesse to the sounds that encompass “Floridacore” in electronic music. Her productions are characterized by signature trancelike soundscapes, sampling inspired by a deep passion and respect for R&B, combined with crisp and powerful percussions while weaving between electro to breaks to hardgroove to jungle making her music perfect for any high ocassion and landing her onto labels like Allergy Season and Omnidisc. This energy transcends into the way she plays, always creating impactful and heavy dance floor moments cementing her as a gem in the city’s club culture. Truly a DJ’s DJ, a massive talent and a dear friend we have loved and watched grow alongside us. 

Secular Music is a sonic exploration rooted in Florida’s rich musical landscape. Blending 90's club influences, humid rhythms, emotive synths, and ethereally expressive textures. Blurring the line between the secular and the spiritual, the theme teases religious undertone, highlighting the irony of club music as both non-secular and deeply spiritual. Secular Music is a tribute to personal transitions, a deep connection to place, and the state’s vibrant music culture. The EP features Miami's own Coffintexts and a remix anthem by Miami Bass queen Jubilee.

A one-of-a kind experimental and bassy release where stars meet hearts in the deepness of the universe. Thirteen tracks exploring emotions, from sorrow to happiness, from fear to serenity. A rich path into the unique and colourful world of the French producer, always evolving over his music researches.
This LP is another milestone for Grid, the fourth release from Doline and maybe his best piece of work so far.

The album opens on Earth, Under Starry Dawn, linked to the last track of the previous LP, to take off straight to the hyperspace. Then Flutina continues the story, with suspens and discovery in weightlessness, floating towards a new world. Janus Complex is a post-trance track with Y2K vibes, like humans explaining their origins to someone new. Sensunreal and its deep synths shows Doline's groove before Through The Stellar Foam lost us into a thick fog trying to find a way out : Chœur, our wormhole to distant stars, where then Etherrestrial Xo suggest the joy and relief to find them, an emotional mood as Doline has the secret. Cockcrow will softly awake us with its AFX-like lo-fi tickling loop and his synth melodies, before Oniromance makes our heads shaking with its thin and unpredictable bass groove. For the last part of the album Carolus Ex-Lament, probably an unknown space conqueror, brings back trancy synths and melodies, while Before What's Beyond choose to show Doline oddness and his speaky synths again, reminding his 'Dompte Regard' era. Star Funeral, a tribute to his loved ones, shows once again Doline's talent for emo-pop melodies. Phœnix too, a brilliant closing track telling us there are always other new worlds to discover : it's already time to fly away!

Doline - Threnody of Moaning Sparks [GRID018] previews

@Bapari’s fourth EP, evermore, is now streaming on Halcyon Veil. The project marks a bold new chapter in the Haitian-American producer’s sonic evolution. For the first time, Bapari steps into the role of vocalist, weaving their voice into live instrumentation with raw, layered vulnerability.

Known for blurring the lines between electronic, ambient, and percussive club forms—including production on the latest FKA twigs album, Euxesua—bapari fuses a range of genres, from shoegaze to trip-hop to electronic, to craft their most personal work to date.

The choice to pick up the mic is a natural one for a club artist who’s always been fascinated by the expressive potential of vocals—from their earliest edits of pop stars and rappers like Beyoncé, Cassie, and Vanessa Carlton to collaborations with Lolahol and Kidä on their third EP, Oasis (Halcyon Veil, 2023). Evermore’s release has already taken bapari on a seven-city European tour, with debuts in Lisbon, Milan, Venice, and Athens. Now based in their hometown of Los Angeles after half a decade in New York, look out for bapari’s new live show, debuting in the U.S. for the first time at Nerve LA on June 20.

Bapari’s previous releases have been featured in publications such as Mixmag, Resident Advisor, Interview, Dancewax, Flaunt, DJ Mag, and Paper. They are a five-time Boiler Room headliner and have hosted the monthly show Puffy on NTS Radio since 2019. bapari has collaborated on performances, soundtracks, and campaigns with a range of brands and designers, including Barragán, YSL Beauty, I.AM.GIA, On Running, Levi’s, No Sesso, New Balance, Red Bull, and Ōura. Their DJing has taken them from the warehouses of downtown L.A. and Brooklyn to clubs across Europe, Australia, Japan, and Mexico, as well as events at museums such as MOCA L.A. and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
