Canadian Paolo Rocco kickstarts the New Year with his ​Judgement EP on Hot Creations. The first release of 2017 is an international affair, with Manchester born Trevino and one of the most spoken
names of last year, Greece native Detlef on remix duties.

Initially making a name for himself through his DJing skills back home in Montreal, Paolo's productions entered the market in 2012 with instant international support. His releases on Real Tone, One Records, Saved and others were all met with high acclaims as were the compilations he mixed for Defected and Get Physical. The creation of, ‘Judgement’ and ‘That’s It’ prove Paolo truly understands what works on the dance floor.

2016 saw Detlef reach new heights whilst also debuting on Hot Creations with his ‘Kinky Tail’ EP. He returns to
the label with a devastating edit of ‘Judgement’ and his rolling signature sound.

Trevino aka Marcus Intalex ramps up the EP with his remix, centred around shimmering high hats and a freaky groove. A champion of how a DJ can achieve success in two different genres, Trevino has released on several of the most praised drum & bass and techno labels for a number of years.

Consistently unearthing a hotbed of new talent, Hot Creations next release is Back To The Music from DJ and producer Sooney. The release features two original tracks and a stellar remix from one of the biggest names in dance music, Route 94.

Title track Back To The Music is an exhilarating record shaped through melodic synths and keys alongside a sharp bassline. Route 94 strips back his remix to the bare groove. While the chugging beats of Afraid Of The Dark bring the release to an accomplished close.

London based Sooney fell in love with house, hardcore & jungle in the early 90's. In 2015 he set up his own label, Take Control Records, gaining support from the likes of Shadow Child, Jamie Jones and Gorgon City to name a few. Since being discovered by the Hot Creations family, Sooney’s sights are firmly set on big things for 2017.

Fellow UK artist Route 94 shot into the limelight in 2012 with chart success and has since gone on to appear on labels including Virgin, Defected and Crosstown Rebels, and work with major names like Katy B and Jess Glynne.

Italian duo, Giacomo Godi and Emiliano Nencioni, better known as SUPERNOVA, debut their first  MOTHER RECORDINGS release with their latest two-tracker EP, ‘The Joy’.
Kicking off with their headline track, ‘The Joy’ pits together a hard-hitting house beat and  walking bassline against a set of dark warbling synth sprays. Here, the duo truly show off their impressive work with the synthesizer, juxtaposing soulful acapella gospel licks with a bundle of morphing synth lines that effortlessly rumble and groan throughout.

Fat kicks, trashy hi’s and spacey synths open up ‘Reflections’, lighting up the dancefloor from the  very start. Here, Supernova step it up a notch, flipping their dark range of warbling synth lines into a set of warm and dreamy funk pads that endlessly purr underneath a sturdy bassline. A range  of elusive vocal howls and cheeky funk melody licks polish the track off around the edges, intensifying in all the right places to create some satisfying releases.
