Stories comprised of pieces of the lives of everyone involved. An eclectic approach to composing and producing creates the foundation for the melodies and lyricism spread across the

Aule Whan - Establish

Short Background

Birth name Andile Nyembezi. Originally coming from the Eastern Cape, eBizana. I am a poet and a musician (rapper to exact). 

Within poetry, some of my accolades include winning the Poetry Africa Slampionship twice and co-writing a two-man play. 

The artistic side of me is purely for intellectual stimulation. I also read extensively and keep track of the books I’ve read: I am currently on 180. I am an author of a puzzle book titled Mpambos, which combines the basic math with etymology. 

Academic wise, I have an honours in Economics and bachelors in finance and economics. I also have an English teaching certificate.

Accolades

Current State of Poetry Festival
The first ever poetry meets theatre festival in Durban, was held at Playhouse by Current State Of Poetry. Supah Mpondo and Sqwayi Khumalo were contracted to write and act in a two-man hour long play. The play was titled The Blood Line, a gothic drama about a young boy who lost faith in church after the loss of his mother, and seeks the path back to righteousness. The two actors interchanged characters of hostage, priest, teenager with multiple personality disorder and servant. The task was completed in a space of two months. Supah Mpondo was solely responsible for composing original music, rhyme dialogue and coordinating musical instruments. The festival ran from July 23- 26, 2015.

- Faceless
Faceless was nominated for Original Material Awards - Mixtape of the year category. The mixtape featured singles like Go!!! & Ce Thru Rappaz which received rotation on Gagasi FM.

2015
-ILLegible
ILLegible was released digitally and the single Slow movin'
 received positive reviews on Slikour Online plus rotation on Gagasi FM.

2017
- Playing in Mud
A collaborative venture with Thaw Odd Sounds which features the breakaway single Him a Bad Guy. The tape features 5 songs and was release at 07 July 2017 (because the date looked cool).

2018
- Imbamba by Safe & Supah

In 2016 Supah Mpondo merged with DJ/Producer Safecutz to form a duo. The  single "DO HE ROCK" which was released in 2017 received positive reviews from Move Hip Hop SA & Commit or Quit. The headlined their first event at Retro Bazaar. 

2019
- Binary by Canis Mjr and Supah Mpondo

The duo, which was part of the winning Mkhumbane team, made a collaborative 6 track project. Fickle has a music video. The tape was experimental and underground. 

2020
- S&S5004 

Second project by Safe & Supah which featured Yallunder, Raheem Kemet, Canis Mjr, MANELIS and Champ Tile. 

2020
- Wash the Mpahlaz 

A joint project with Oudskul. The theme of it was to raise mental health awareness. 

2022
- Rainbow Toothpaste

A collaboration between producer, Tushensu. The tape came out in 28 February and has been well-received so far.
