The next instalment of the Slow Motion Soundtracks Serie, this time from Pordenone‘s Alessandro Parisi. Interested in esoteric and religious texts, this comes across loud and clear in his stunning, ethereal E.P Andromeda, which at turns send shivers down your spine and expands your mind. Having released on the likes of Giallo Disco and Charlois, this is Alessandro’s first release on Slow Motion. These ecclesiastical synth workouts are sure to inspire clubbers and thinkers alike. It had never felt like home, merely a resting place in which she could lay her head for a little while. The boat moved slowly aupon the water and she would not look back.

Back with a B side, Komodo (@komodo-jkt) aptly names the track “Slow burning” with blissful countermelodies that intertwine with arpeggiated synths, sludgy 303’s and propulsive drums that create a hypnotic timbre. This dance floor absurdity is taken from Komodo’s upcoming release “Running Into The Sun” for “Not an animal” records (@notananimalrecords) which was born from the party debris left uncleaned from London’s infamous Bad Passion parties, originally ran by Chris Stoker and Andy Bainbridge.

Our pick from this release is Latrec’s interpretation of “Slow burning” adding their intrusive Techno remix with a sub-bass driveline that completes this quintessential release.

Next up on XXX, the Dutch label run by DJ and producr SHMLSS, is good friend and Bordello A Parigi alumni Stijn Sadée. After two contributions to earlier releases for the label, he's now set to release his first original EP on the label, which features a remix from Smala boss Manfredas that they locked in after the Lithuanian producer saw Stijn play live last year. The aesthetics of the label are down to Stijn's brother Thomas who worked closely with him to create something that fitted with the music and his influences.

"Where Were We" radio show and party series is turning into a label.
The first release is coming from a local talent Lowe Aka User. Member of Soundwax and Jardin Exotique crews, Algis is not only a BMX rider, but also a dj, producer and party starter. His crew's Jardin Exotique parties at Vilnius' Opium Club already hosted Lauer, Marvin & Guy, Telephones and Cooper Saver. And more names of similar caliber are bound to come in the future.
The 3 tracker EP is heavily inspired by the sounds of 80's italo disco and proto-house. It has taken the best elements of the era such as arpeggiated synths and basslines and mashed it with new touches of modern-day house music. The amalgamation of this sounds like it was made in heaven and descended from above to the earth just in time for summer in order to keep people smiling on the dancefloor whilst busting a move or two.
