This song has a story. I started writing it for my partner at the time(Deviser) when they were feeling down. They loved the sound and we decided to make the song a collaborative expression about dealing with being physically apart in a long distance relationship. They wrote some lyrics and sent me a couple of takes of they singing over the track; I chopped them up and mixed them in with the instrumental, evolving the track into what you hear now. Although the song is melancholy, the process that went behind making it was full of love.
