We are excited to present our newest guest mix, Institution 029: Gerard Bozyk! 

Originally from Poland, Gerard Bozyk now resides in Dublin, Ireland. Bozyk’s mixes and DJ-sets are characterized by deep rhythms and emotional melodies. His influences arise from the underground progressive house scene, and include music from labels such as Lost&Found, Anjunadeep, Perspective Digital, amongst others. These influences reflect in his excellent monthly podcast on Proton Radio: Metropolis (check it out!).

On a personal note, some of us were fortunate enough to meet Gerard this fall at ADE 2019. Super nice, down to earth guy, who is truly passionate about the music and the underground scene.

We think you’ll agree that Institution 029: Gerard Bozyk is just what the doctor ordered!

What is the best thing you've done this year? "SurViVed" 
2020 is a year of survival. This track was born during Covid19 quarantine when it felt like survival, keeping my family safe and making music were the only things I cared most about.
Meditating and connecting with my inner and nature were my daily medicines.
This track was recorded at home (with very basic tools) and remixed by DJ. Nes from Jordan.

Ubersee Music delivers its first release in consecutive months since 2019! Like many times before, the label's owner, Namito, features prominently on both mixes. He thus continues to partner with another native of Iran, Farhood Kavan. After debuting on Bar25 Music, they now officially present “Vessal.” Amine K does his part to revitalize the imprint, as well. “Born with a heart for the beat,” the Moroccan injects tribal flair into each remix. This next one makes use of stringed instruments to enhance its ticking percussion and arid tones.
