Qualista - Xanthos

I've long been a fan of melodic downtempo and since I played my fastest set at the Landrave festival in summer I always wondered how that set may sound in downtempo. So I checked the tracks, switched out some and left out others and played the set again, much much slower (107 bpm compared to the 125 I played at the festival) and with different transitions. I hope you enjoy it as thoroughly as I did working on it.
Nice bonus: I was able to redo the transitions that I messed up half a year ago

We are excited to present our newest guest mix, Institution 029: Gerard Bozyk! 

Originally from Poland, Gerard Bozyk now resides in Dublin, Ireland. Bozyk’s mixes and DJ-sets are characterized by deep rhythms and emotional melodies. His influences arise from the underground progressive house scene, and include music from labels such as Lost&Found, Anjunadeep, Perspective Digital, amongst others. These influences reflect in his excellent monthly podcast on Proton Radio: Metropolis (check it out!).

On a personal note, some of us were fortunate enough to meet Gerard this fall at ADE 2019. Super nice, down to earth guy, who is truly passionate about the music and the underground scene.
