His deft touch in the studio and adept curation have taken him across Canada, the US, and the Caribbean with performances at renowned events such as AIM Festival, Burning Man and SXM Festival. At home, Mitch Oliver has taken on the mantle of driving the Montreal scene forward through his budding Aurora events and through vibrant residencies at the likes of Velvet and Guy Laliberté’s PY1 Nights.

Plecta was born in 1986 and he lives in Athens. He has been involved with music since his childhood. At the young age of ten, he began his education in music with the guitar, but his passion slowly began to steer towards electronic music and the desire to compose such music.He is influenced by a huge range of sound colours throughout the electronic music scene. Over the years, his music creations increased even more. Doing composing, he realised Deep House music as organic , dreamy, melodic sounds were his spirit of energy and passion became the “signature” of Plecta’s musical compositions. His passion continues to drive him and be the main force behind his music. At the past, he has made several releases to other types of electronic music such as Techno, Minimal and more. However, the Deep House music is the one that eventually drew his attention. Inspired by new music ideas, his journey begins, giving a natural and electronic sound at his music creations and pushing his limits a step further.

I lived in Dublin, Mexico DF, São Paulo, Paris and in Asia between my 19 and 27's and visited a bunch of other countries which led me to open up to world electronic music.

My style evolves between Downtempo, Deep and Progressive with Ethno Tribal tones and organic, spiritual, indigenous & shamanic influences.

The radio show has provided an amazing opportunity to connect with like-minded up and coming artists in the industry - and has featured many top talents who have since gone on to achieve even greater heights. "Quarks & Quaaludes - an Epic House Journey" airs exclusively on Saturo Sounds radio every 4th Saturday of the month @ 7PM GMT.
