I know I made Edward;s S2 theme recently but I was never really satisfied with how it turned out. Felt like all the sounds clashed against one another. Now, with the Mercury-6 vst (and wonderful dubbing tracks for reference provided by Oliver11GWR) I decided to have another go, and I am completely satisfied with this version. Hope you enjoy as well!

Trumpet, Brass Lead, Bass and Clarinet synths by Kristian (Wisteria Bird Studios). Strings and Flute synths by me.

Original music by Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell. Recreated by AceofTrains music in Mixcraft 9 using VST versions of the Roland Jupiter-6 analog synthesizer and the Linn LM-1 drum machine.

Edward The Blue Engine's Theme - Season 2 Remastered (Updated 1/24/24)

The first rendition of Percy's Crash Theme heard in 'Thomas'.
One thing I like about this theme is it's arranged similarly to the original but with fresher instrumentation, a charm to the music that would still til around Series 4.

Percy & The Trousers (Series 3)

For many years we've called this the 'Triumphant' Theme but I feel 'Celebration' is a nice change from using that word a lot to label some of the music. This is variant from 'Special Letter' when the Fat Controllers' Engines' go to London after receiving a letter from a little girl who was longing to meet the famous engines.

The Celebration Theme - To The Big City(Series 4)

The extended cut of the Chase Theme from 'Bulgy' that was remixed later in 'Train Stops Play' and 'Bowled Out'.
This one has the Stepney motif laced in some parts of the song which was always a clever thing that Mike and Junior did, when a character was present but not using their primary theme but sprinkling that character's motif in a piece when needed to fit the visuals. A classic composer technique.

Hi all! This is a track I've wanted to do for AGES but I've never gotten round to doing it, or even attempting to do it. Mostly because of inaccurate instruments and the lack of general know-how, but here it is now!
