To celebrate the 80th Anniversary of The Railway Series & Thomas & Friends, I've decided to start a collab where we'll be creating a fun montage video going through all the RWS stories from start to end with an extended remix of "The Railway Series Theme" I'll be arranging. This here is a short sample/practice for a longer version.

We officially start on March 22nd. If you want to join, go to my Discord server and give a notice in the "80th-collab" chat, this will be the main hub where all the collaborating happens.

The Railway Series Theme Short Freelance Remix - Giano's RWS 80th COLLAB ANNOUNCEMENT (READ DESC)

Hey everyone! This one's out of the oven and full of lovin': Duck's Theme! Ever since the reveal for the new Thomas Trackmaster stuff Mattel is releasing later this year, I could never get over how hyped I was seeing Duck. So, I decided to tackle a season 5 cover of his theme. This is already sorta inspired by AceofTrains' from a while back regarding tonal harmonies, but I wanted to change up a bit of the instrumentation to make mine original. I really enjoyed how this turned out, and I hope 'yall do as well! Be on the lookout for more tracks real soon...

Perhaps my second favorite variant of this theme, as heard in 'Saved From Scrap'.

The Busy Station Theme (Series 2)

Here's an interesting one. As some may recognize, this is the mix heard in Wrong Road and Percy & Harold. However, that was a cut version that ends after the second verse of the theme with a flute lick at the end. In the 'Surprise Adventures' cassette tape, at the start you hear a rare mix that has a secret third verse that wasn't used in the show which now makes me wonder what that mix was originally planned for. 
It's different to the Saved From Scrap one which uses the S1 mix primarily and you can tell this was a fresh redo for the second series as the sound is brassier and has more reverb on it. This mix is definitely softer than the Series 1 version, which has a more gritty and drier sound with the stronger cabasas emulating the driving pistons of a steam train whereas this is far more ambient.
