My PlayAlchemist set was by far gonna be my biggest set of the week. It simply wasn't meant to be as the rain shut down their camp for the rest of the burn (big time sad face)! I spent a lot of time crafting this set with the vibe of this epic camp in mind and re-recorded it in hopes that the energy and vibe I intended can be captured a bit...this set was meant to be played from 12:30am to 2:30am so clearly I planned a bit more than that with the intention of playing the section(s) that felt best in the moment.

My live set following a wonderful yoga journey and cacao ceremony at the incredible Eagle's Nest eco-village perched high atop a mountain overlooking the mystical vortex that is Lake Atitlan.  Surrounded by Volcanoes and accompanied by a special tribe of dancers, we co-created a lovely afternoon musical experience that I won't ever forget!

BIO: 
If art is how we decorate space, music is how we decorate time.  For Sage, performing is so much more than just putting on a show - it's about telling a story.  It's about invoking emotion and enriching experiences.  It's prayer.  it's ceremony.  Its presence and freedom.

Sage has shared the stage an eclectic array of Artists such as David Starfire, Soohan, Alex Cruz, Mystic Grizzly, Mz. Worthy, Lee Reynolds, Equanimous, Ruby Chase, Destructo, SkiiTour, Gettoblaster and Rinzen.  Also an accomplished Ecstatic Dance DJ, he has led spiritual sonic journeys in Nevada City, Oakland, San Francisco, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, Lake Tahoe and Reno. 

Since relocating to San Francisco in early 2022, he has performed at top dance destinations Public Works, Halcyon, Monarch, The Midway and 1015 Folsom.  In the past year he has also been minted a Resident DJ of standout Bay Area communities Heavy Petting Zoo, Disco Donutz & Airpusher Collective.  Sage also co-founded a new Burning Man camp, Black Rock City Snow Club in 2022, along with his DJ partner-in-time Dylan Hogan a.k.a Major Trouble. 

On the festival front last year, he was invited to perform at Stilldream, Kausmic, StarVibes, UnSCruz, By The People, Soulplay & Burning Man.  He is coming off a “fresh” appearance at Fresh Tracks festival and has a full slate of festival performances scheduled this summer.  Sage also loves a good outdoor block party - throwing down art car sets in ‘22 at The Midway/Opulent Temple event Diplo‘s Menagerie; at the iconic San Francisco How Weird Street Fair as well as Great Northern’s new decomp offering - Block Rock City.  Sage kicked off 2023 in the best way possible; with a magical closing set before a huge crowd on the Heavy Petting Zoo art car at the legendary Breakfast of Champions / It’s A New Day block party on NYD in SF.  Earlier this Spring he made his Daybreaker debut in San Francisco’s iconic Grace Cathedral.  In May he played his first headlining show, Duality, in Sacramento for the good folks at Woot².  Following performing 6 sets at Burning Man, Sage headlined a decompression party in Reno at Virginia Street Brewhouse.

It was a busy summer festival season as well for Sage: performing at Stilldream, Soulplay, Kausmic and By The People.
