Wires (Athlete cover)

Originally sung in acapella by Marta Sebestyen in the movie The English Patient. I translated the words and sang it in English with my own composition, to capture the haunting storyline of the movie, and the ending recalling the lullaby in Hungarian again, in how Gabriel Yared for the final scenes of the movie. One day I will rewrite this with a version that includes a clarinet solo, in tribute of Yared’s soundtrack composition (and with better production). 

My native language isn't Hungarian so please excuse the improper pronunciations if any; and please feel free to contact me if it’s bad (I have only had two Hungarians hear it and they said it was okay).

Trialing my new recording setup. Feel like I need to start learning how to walk all over again, so I chose a simple track to give the mixers a go. Not mixed with speakers before. My mixing headphones, that I kept safe, is still missing. I have nightmares of my mixing headphones calling out to me like a ghost in a haunted house. :S 

Song is by Mariah Carey which is the only song I could tolerate in that entire album. Deeply personal so hope it comes through vocally.
