Back in November 2014, Scotty.A hit the Proton Music headlines once again as "Tomorrow" shone a light into the UK producer's musical soul. A remix EP followed as Addex and Frank Maris took the reins and now "Tomorrow" returns for a third outing, reworked by a techno legend and a multi-talented San Francisco icon.

Oliver Lieb requires little introduction to both the Proton cognoscenti and the wider music-loving masses. A German of prodigious talent and multiple personas that have taken the trance and techno scenes by storm over a 25 year period, his work under the Force Legato, L.S.G. and Oliver Lieb production pseudonyms have never ceased to provide success, recognition and respect.

Remixes for Moby, Faithless and Human League have seen Lieb scale lofty heights few can equal, bringing kudos and credibility to all that he touches. With work signed to such celebrated imprints as Platipus, Yoshitoshi and Hooj Choons, Lieb's own Maschine and Solieb labels have also provided a hallmark of sustained quality.

A regular on Proton Music over the past eighteen months, 2014's "Dark Energy" EP provided techno mastery before a set of remixes included Silinder, Tim Penner and Scotty.A himself. 2015's "VY Canis Majoris" has continued Lieb's immaculate original production material with a number of remixes set to follow during the rest of the year. Now tackling his first remix for Proton, Oliver Lieb's rework of "Chapter's End" is full of the majesty and production mastery for which he is famous. Intricate layers of percussive groove and rhythm drive forwards with unrelenting intensity, backed by an intelligent reinvention of the Scotty.A's melodic components. Gated synth elements provide rhythmic synchronicity combined with Lieb's own production work to create a remix with an impressive story to tell.

San Francisco based Mark Slee is another DJ and producer with a host of skills and talents to his name. A regular number one ranked DJ on Proton Radio with his Heron Sound show; Slee is an iconic figure in his San Francisco hometown both as DJ in a variety of local clubs and bars, and as a promoter and event organiser. Furthermore, Mark Slee's technical prowess has seen his lighting software deployed at globally renowned festivals, "Burning Man" and "Coachella".

A production portfolio that has seen a raft of original productions for Jondi and Spesh's Looq imprint, Mark Slee's sound has made a significant impact on the deep house community with such offerings as the "Sunday Trails" and "Surface Tension" EPs. Now making his debut for Proton Music, Mark Slee's "Space Jazz Improvisation" provides a unique interpretation of "Next Chapter". A smooth rhythmic bed layered with deep house chords opens proceedings with hi-hats to the fore, before a meandering freeform melodic interpretation wends its way atop in glorious carefree abandon. Breaking from the norm in impressive style, Mark Slee's work deserves immediate attention.

PHCK - Brother

The next batch of fruits from our orchard has been picked and is ready to taste.

It comes from Barcelona, courtesy of Argentinian producer Amadori. The Buenos Aires native had the pleasure of growing his name on labels like Shanti Moscow Radio, RADIANT, Wayu Records among others.

Joining him on his "Sunrise" EP are two very talented musicians in their own right. Emotional Tourist (aka Andrew Case) makes his own spin on "Sunrise" (which already gained the support of Powel in his Balance Music mix), while Josefina Barreix adds subtle vocals on "Sanz" - the closing track of this gorgeous EP.
