I am a senegalese artist- entrepreneur- vocal leader- guitarist of Sahad’s band.

Sahad is considered as the emerging group on the Dakar scene, both nationally and internationally, having received major international awards and selected at the majority of major showcases: Official Selection ACCES Music in Africa Conference (Nairobi, Kenya) Official Selection SXSW South by South West (Austin, USA) Tanit d'or: Journées Musicales de Carthage (Tunisia) Finalist of the International Music Publishing Market - France, "Afro Pépites show" Le Rêve africain (France) Visa for Music (Rabat, Morocco).
The richness of our music touches different audiences: both international and national. This is what allows us to travel the world to defend our Senegalese colours. We have three international tours to our credit: Switzerland, Germany, United States, Morocco, Tunisia, France, Belgium, and numerous dates in West Africa.
Since the year 2019, I joined the Womex network by participating in this edition. I have been able to meet people who are passionate and sensitive to our music and the ideas we defend. This experience has opened some doors for me, and allowed me to exchange on my different projects with professionals from all over the world. As a result, we were able to sign with two internationally renowned booking agencies with whom we work jointly.

We have been working with my team in self-production for all these years. I need to be able to integrate the networks of professionals in the music industry to continue to survive and collaborate on the long term. Also, a new album "Luuma" is ready for release in the first half of 2021.
