With a pair of appearances on our Tales of Romance series, sandwiched between a serene single on Eleatics, Scofield has built a hearty foundation in the early stages of his journey. Signifying a major moment in his artistic endeavours, we are thrilled to host his first full EP on the imprint - Highway 1.

Rebirth reins in the gusto, settling us into easy-flowing daze. Nick has a knack for the timeless, taking influence from proven soundscapes both new and old. A classic-tinged hook balances a meandering melody, as a lush vocal chop ebbs effortlessly throughout a blissed-out set closer.

There are a lot of people going through difficult times right now, as it has gotten a lot harder to escape the confrontation with all that ugliness and hate lately. Bamba’s way out was to dream through music. His mix sets hope, that better days will come. It is meant as a reminder that we all are still connected through music and hopefully always will be. 

Bamba crossed our path on the very beginning of chameleoncast. He has always been supporting our mission of releasing slow music in fast times and we are happy that Talpa Rec. has a special place in his heart. He also expresses his love for slow music with his beautiful channel called "Downtempo Rituals".

Shado is a French Moroccan DJ currently based in Essaouira.
His deep-rooted passion for music was ignited during his teenage years, influenced by the early 90s rock and grunge era but also by the timeless nuances of jazz, a realm of perpetual exploration and eclecticism.
During the late 90s, living in Montreal, shado immersed himself in the trip-hop genre, embracing its profound, downtempo grooves and developed a passion for electronic music in renowned clubs like Stereo and Sauna. Underworld, with their progressive, ambient, and layered compositions were one the the most significant inspiration for shado.
shado’s performances are transformative, transporting audiences on a journey from dark places in each one of us to cosmic luminescence. His sonic palette encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from ethereal and ambient soundscapes to grittier, sharp porn disco sounds. Every performance is a collective voyage, crafted by and for the crowd.
