Vella is a Bulgarian DJ emerging in Sofia’s underground techno scene. Mentored by Bulgarian Techno Pioneers Metropolis, she has developed a multi‑layered sound built on minimal basslines, steady grooves and hypnotic patterns. She has played early‑morning slots at events organised by Metropolis, Rawsonance and Roboloco, and recently made her debut at the Inter Expo Center for Metropolis HARDONE alongside Kobosil, Clara Cuve and O.B.I.

This mix features a steadily evolving flow that grows more trippy with each track, combining a curated selection of tracks layered up to three at a time to create a deep, driving groove.

Ruben Ganev is a Bulgarian sound designer, producer, tutor, performer, and label owner with nearly two decades of experience in sonic craftsmanship. Born in Sofia in 1987 with Armenian heritage, he began experimenting with sound in 2005 and later honed his skills in the UK, graduating in Sound Design from the University of the Arts London in 2011. Influenced by his classical music background and diverse musical tastes, Ganev developed a distinct style that culminated in the founding of his Berlin-based label, mould.audio, in 2020. His productions, praised for their depth and maturity, have gained recognition from top-tier artists and are regularly played in premier clubs and festivals worldwide, including Berghain and Tresor. In 2023, he released music on the esteemed Reclaim Your City label. Now based in Sofia, Ganev continues to produce, release music, and tutor aspiring producers through his individual courses.

Vella and Viktorija came together for a raw B2B techno set at DJ SHOP Studios. The set unfolds through seamless mixing across four decks, combining pounding kicks, textured percussion and deep basslines. The selection is rooted in underground techno. Their tight beatmatching and transitions created a fluid and immersive atmosphere that evolves naturally. Two women united in sound commanding the decks of techno. Enjoy!
