We are turning the page of our next edition of 'Terra Incognita', the third edition full of different and diverse paths it can lead the listeners to. Starting we reveal Habischman - the experienced Iranian producer, releasing his music via top notch labels as Noir Music, Dubfire's SCI+TEC and Get Physical. 'Aperture' comes as a great opener, conjuncted as a delicate blend of vintage dub-chords, elegant vocals and dramatic, hypnotic synths. Italian producer Stephan Jolk, who is putting out his music lately with Hommage and Beatfreak Recordings, can definitely make the synthesizers breathe. His 'Overdub' is a perfect combination of the minimalistic approach to the world of melodies: the pulsing melodic themes are wisely placed into sharply produced strained beat, which are coming together as a great tune as a result. US based artist Enamour has shown himself as a very promising artist, working with the labels as Yoshitoshi and Anjunadeep, so the stated words of Enamour to be a 'a curator of dark, infectious grooves and wistful atmospheres' is perfectly describing this talented producer at his best. 'Pet Paradox' is a firm thing, lying somewhere between genres and far ahead trends. Argentinian Tomy Wahl delivers his stomper 'Matka' next on the line: a powerful bass shaped track with a dramatic piano breakdown and glitchy proper drums. We close a pack with 'Hong Kong Harbour' track from Netherlands based producer Tom Zeta (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE). This work, mainly exposing with the main detuned synth sound, is finishing the exploration of another Terra Incognita, which became known to you now. BOHO and Rachel Raw have been grinding away for the past few years in the German techno scene from their hometown, Cologne. The two collaborate frequently both in the studio and on the decks, combining BOHO’s deep and focused sound with Rachel Raw’s heavy beats and hypnotizing melodies.

Their new EP, The Happening, stays true to their respective genre-bending catalogues. The title track displays a beautiful, spacey melody over a deep, techy bass line and driving groove. The Mr. Bizz remix thickens things up and takes it to the late-night dancefloor with a deeper and darker techno arrangement. Hansaring brings in the 303 for some acid-flavored progressive house, while Silver Stripe makes use of a filter-modulated bass and arpeggiated melodies to craft a hypnotic and exciting arrangement. Altogether it’s a diverse and unique set of sounds that showcases the German duo’s knack for interesting, genre-blending techno.

'The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Kostakis to the label for his debut EP. The South African artist first appeared in 2014 on Get Physical with the Beatport chart success 'iKalimba'. With the backing of Adriatique, Pete Tong and Solomun, Kostakis has since showcased his music via Chapter 24 Records and KATERMUKKE. Now landing on Movement Recordings, the Cape Town resident presents his 'Ithaca' EP, alongside remixes from Matchy, Paul Anthonee and Chris Sen. 

Beginning with the title selection Kostakis explores a contemporary astral narrative. Tough beats and a chugging groove sit at the foundation while haunting pads and spacey arps descend over the framework. Fluid and cosmic in equal measure, rugged rhythms push momentum into a tense yet emotive break, before tasteful modulation peaks and striking stabs cue a powerful finale. The companion piece 'Ithaca' follows a similar sonic ethos and sits as a perfect complement to its predecessor. It's rolling groove is not only powerful but perfectly contoured, adorned with fiery percussion and ethereal effects. Astral fragments and pensive arps drift across the framework while dramatic overlays continue to build tension into the break. Cavernous yet striking, the centerpiece melts down to an effervescent sizzle, as a gentle rush sparks a driving final movement. 

The first interpretation of 'Ithaca' is provided by Paul Anthonee who returns to the label for his seventh appearance. The Cyprus based artist last appeared on the Greek imprint in October of 2019 with a contribution to the label's ADE Sampler. Also laying claim to releases on Beatfreak Recordings, Parquet Recordings, Steyoyoke and Suara, Paul now returns to Movement Recordings with a stunning rendition of 'Ithaca'. Setting the piece in motion, a foundation of driving beats and percussive waves converge for a wall of momentous energy. Electric rhythms complement the rolling foundation, while effervescent arps steal the air at timely moments. The main break furthers the storyboard through tastefully twisted modulation before striking chord stabs usher in an exhilarating drop and thrilling final movement. '

The latest release from Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Q.U.A.K.E and Aaron Suiss to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Israel respectively, Asraf Netanel make up the Q.U.A.K.E project. His decade-long achievements of the project has seen Nati build an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Freegrant Music and Iboga Records. Based in Thailand and a regular on Matan Caspi and Stan Kolev's Outta Limits imprint is Aaron Suiss. Since first appearing in 2019, his electric brand of progressive music has been earning favour with the genre's tastemakers, while also performing well in Beatport's competitive sales charts. Having worked together once previously on a remix for Chrom Recordings, Q.U.A.K.E and Aaron now unite for their first original project entitled 'Breathe', alongside remixes from Animal Picnic and Dizharmonia.

Rounding out the release and providing the second and final interpretation of 'Breathe' are Dizharmonia. Hailing from Athens, the Greek duo first appeared on the label in February of 2018 with their well received 'Trigonon' EP. 2019 then saw Dizharmonia return to Movement, delivering a stunning remix of Wielki's 'Excelsior'. Firmly established in the world of melodic house and techno, the duo lay claim to an impressive resume, highlighted by releases on Beatfreak Recordings, Steyoyoke, Stil Vor Talent and Timeless Moment. Now fresh off their latest Movement vehicle 'Alkahest', Dizharmonia returns with a stunning rendition of 'Breathe'. Through distinctive design and esoteric motifs, the Greek duo have crafted an excellent complement to the original. Astral sonics, symphonic arps and heady effects play off each other wonderfully, while Haptic's ghostly vocals drift through the framework. A tough yet groovy architecture anchors the engaging journey, while a timely break brings a dramatic swell which sets the course for a mind-bending finale. An inspired remix from Dizharmonia which caps off another excellent offering from Tash's Movement Recordings.
