Deaf Pillow, esta dupla peruana conformada por los no poco conocidos Rodrigo Lozano y Christian Berger, vuelve a hacer de las suyas con 5th Avenue, un EP que se alista en el sello compatriota Saint & Don’t. 

Además, se incluyen un par de remixes, a cargo del productor rumano Herck y, por supuesto, agregando la cuota de la casa, Kike Mayor y He Did. 

En esta ocasión, les contamos un poco acerca del track que abre y prepara el EP, “5th Avenue”… 

Desde un comienzo la escurridiza percusión se va anunciando, acompañada de un pad que pareciese aclimatar la temperatura; mientras que, a los dos minutos se acerca el primer drop y aparece una línea de bajo que, instantáneamente, sacude el cuello de arriba hacia abajo de aquel que lo oye. 

Los glitches y microsonidos se van soltando conforme se desarrolla el tema; asimismo, los hihats se abren para añadir velocidad y, con ello, se crea la atmósfera de esa sonoridad microhouse, templando el ambiente y lista como para ir estirando los músculos en la pista de baile. 

En definitiva, un interesante material, del cual ya nos tiene bien acostumbrados este dueto; de igual forma, un excelente repertorio que se añade para Saint & Don’t.

Sabemos que se quedarán con las ganas de oír el EP completo…
