03 Swan Song Sung

I have been enjoying some analogue and "analogue modeled" gear over the last year and the challenge of making bass music with psychedelic vibes with it has taken me to many interesting places.

This track stared as a jam on the TR8 and the Moog Sub37 and soon turned into an acidic squelcher when I added the TB3 and some arps and atmo from the Roland Gaia SH01.

For good measure I added some instrumental chops of one of my favorite instruments; the saxophone! Layered the drums and created some sfx and subs in serum.

It's been fun to make this and the arrangement and mixing was probably my fastest song to date with only 3 short sessions.

The songs journey themes of Escape, Rescue, Refuge, Identity and Legacy. However challenging these experiences are, they are fleeting and it is important to us that they are hopeful.
