you'd get an answer from them,
they’d tell stories from the past
and if you were lucky they would take you with them

Back in the restless days when it was impossible to reach calmness or even take a breath between endless wars and diseases, there were only a few lucky ones who still managed to keep their peace. I was one of them. I found my peace in a small tavern in the suburb. I got carried away over a mug of some strong beverage, blown to the strange shores full of love and joy.

We text calls to our beloved girlfriends. 
They don't pick up but we know that we'll reach them. 
We are clear across to ourselves, we don't plot anything, 
we just want to say hello. 
Old records were made on some acient equipment
but that was the best we had.

we wish our texts reached them, 
we wish we were heard.
