About our Guest:
Ariana Gray Bé, aka agraybé, is an artist, scientist, and environmentalist. On the dance floor, she brings this unique perspective to invigorate the soul and senses. Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Ariana spent formative years across the Great Lakes Rust Belt before calling the West Coast home. Her sets express equal parts mind and heart, often interweaving environmental inspirations with deep grooves grounded in Midwest dance music. Within the LA community, Ariana founded and co-organizes Anemone, is a resident for Made to Move and New Palm, and hosts her mix series, Cloud Studies. Ariana has been honored to share her flavor the last few years at Great Beyond and Gradient campouts, in addition to playing alongside artists such as Patrick Russell, Diskonnected, Colored Craig, Umfang, Aurora Halal, John Tejada, Stefan Ringer, Zernell, Scott Zacharias, Father Dukes, Jake Muir, KiNK, and more. Recent endeavors into the world of production have landed her as the opening contributor to Acid Camp’s 10 year anniversary compilation.

About the Show:
Body Tools Sessions is a live audio video broadcast that happens on the First Saturday of every month from 1pm to 4pm PST on the VPN network. Each episode features a mix by a Body Tools resident on the first hour and a half, and then a special guest mix is featured on the second hour and a half. Once the stream is finished we always post the videos and audio the following week to our archive on SoundCloud, YouTube, & Vimeo.

More French Fries is a 15-track compilation bringing together 19 producers from all over France – from Paris to Marseille, including Lyon, Strasbourg, or Toulouse – all part of a generation that endeavours to shape the sound of tomorrow. I’ve been holding back on this as I had hopes it would get picked up exclusively by online media or for a podcast series as I did with my 2017 set, but I’ve decided to put it out through my own channels before the year is out instead (as nobody seemed to be interested in anything other than studio mixes!!??).....It might also come as an early Xmas present for those who came along with me for the ride and have been eagerly awaiting the recording - better late than never I guess! 
What can I say about the gig - it’s hard to put into words, I was completely overwhelmed by the energy that I witnessed rapidly coalesce in the sweltering hot room that night. The Freerotation crowd is surely one of the world’s most musically open-minded and supportive that you could ever hope to find as a DJ, and so many inspired & magical moments promptly ensued with the distinct sense of musical freedom that had overcome me. DJ-ing on the opening night was an absolute pleasure with so much excitement in the air, and to have the opportunity to play music at this wonderful event once again, was truly an honour. 
I hope that these sentiments are reflected in this recording, and that it gives those that were there the chance to re-live some of that magic. Peace.

@SolarSF and @Mozhgan have been kind enough to let us upload their barnstormer of a set from The Island, and by gum this one’s a humdinger. 

For those of you who live under rocks, Solar and Mozhgan popped over from San Francisco to give Bristol’s best venue a proper talking to - and a proper talking to they indeed gave it. The duo took us through selections of punk-laced EBM, futurist minimal synth, headbang techno and old-school acid drivers, solidifying their status as our favourite Bay Area couple! 

As a mix, it is unpredictable, obscure and diverse, but without meandering from a central theme of dark, moody, fun-as-fuck party slammers (DJ Bigos hit us up) - we feel incredibly blessed to have been able to host these two and add this to our humble little series.

Not to mention preserving one of our favourite parties, and some fond memories with 2 of our favourite guests!
