Kicking things off for our first release of 2022 is someone we’ve been a fan of at Nothing Else Matters for a while now, Danish/Egyptian DJ, producer and vocalist, Ashibah, who debuts on Danny Howard’s imprint with brand new single, ‘Get 2 Know Me’. Having already taken South America by storm, Ashibah is making her mark on the international scene with her explosive DJ sets and expanding catalogue of club heat on an impressive list of labels including D4 D4NCE, Armada Subjekt, SOLOTOKO, Kittball, DFTD and This Never Happened. ‘Get 2 Know Me’ is an instant dancefloor hit, delivering an infectious and propulsive groove with entrancing vocals, driving House drums and funk-laden bass throughout.

Swiss-born DJ and producer Dario D’Attis continues his streak of high-caliber releases, delivering yet another standout record on Poker Flat Records. 

Known for his deep, groove-driven sound and impeccable production, D’Attis teams up with house music legend Mr. V on Back To The Old, a tribute to the golden days of US house music. Mr. V’s unmistakable vocals set the tone, celebrating the raw, jackin’ energy that defined the era, while D’Attis provides a driving, dancefloor-ready groove.

Adding to the release, NYC house icon Joeski - a veteran with over three decades in the scene - delivers a remix that takes Back To The Old into deep, rolling territory. A staple of underground house, Joeski has crafted a career spanning from the late '90s rave scene to modern-day dance floors. His remix leans into a hypnotic, percussive groove, keeping the retro spirit alive while injecting his signature deep and bumping style.

It’s been a minute since we’ve had Sven Kerkhoff on the label. 2021’s big-charting, DJ-friendly classic house of “Hear The Music” is our last collab. That said, we’re big fans of his classic house sound; it’s no wonder that top-drawer labels like Nervous and Henry Street have featured his slow-burning beats. “Need You” began life as a demo that Sven and fellow Germany-based producer Nuray Alkan sent to Kevin McKay. He loved the ideas in it so much, he got involved. The resulting collaboration has touches of Kerkhoff’s influences (DJ Tonka, Ian Pooley), Nuray’s love of classic house and Kevin’s loopy 90s cut-ups (it’s giving us serious “Don’t Turn Your Back On Me” vibes!) So, if disco-fuelled 90s deepness is your thing, this is for you!

Industry veteran Paolo Martini is next to join the Emerald City family with Red Rocks. Bringing the funk, he delivers a solid two-track release with irresistible groove and dance-floor disco heat.

Paolo Martini has been in the business for over 30 years, first releasing with Gianni Bini on various labels such as Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Universal, Azuli and Nervous. They soon established their own label Ocean Trax and handled remixes of Kylie Minogue and Jamiroquai. Paolo has also been testimonial for several clothing brands including Diesel and Adidas and also the Rane MP2015 mixer. His following co-productions can be found on acclaimed labels such as Hot Creations, Snatch!, Moon Harbour, 8Bit, Saved and Cecille amongst many others. 2017 starts the beginning of a new adventure with a string of releases geared up under his new solo project.
