This mix was created on Y2K (or 1999, I can't remember) by DJ Dominik Bro in Montréal, Québec. I was the recording engineer and I was responsible for creating the final mixdown and mastering for this session.

This is a studio session, however, all the mixes were done live using two SL-1200 by Dominik Bro. No special cleanup was applied to the mix once it was recorded to make it sound "more beautiful". The final recording was done over multiple days and dozens of trials (and beers) for every single song to make it sound as perfect as possible.

What you hear is pure craftsmanship from one of the most talented DJ I ever heard in any given styles and genres (from new wave to alternative to Prog House like this release). We wanted to give a tracklist that would flow and be enjoyable even 10 years after the recording, we wanted to make a mix that could've been done by turntables alone, without "ProTools" corrections.

That's what we achieved in my opinion. The recording still mostly stands on its own and is enjoyable even today.

(Note: there is a slight stereo glitch after a few minutes - that's what happens when you do live, everything else was cool so we kept it) Enjoy!
