We’re asking 8 of our friends, producers and DJs to help us with their versions of the “real” party after the “meh” party. And we’re calling it The After-After-Party Mixtapes. Totally subjective, totally in their control.

Q: What’s your go-to late night sound? What defines your choices?
A: My go to late night sound has deep, hypnotic and a bit of dancy elements to it.

Q: What is, in your opinion, the ideal afters? No wrong answers here, and definitely no judgment.
A: Some of the best after party moments are the intimate ones where I can just unwind and have deep conversations with my closest people.

Q: Walk us through some of your selections. What are some of your favorite picks in this mix and why?
A: This mix starts with deep tunes progressing into some groovy acid house. It slowly transitions into some break beats and trance elements towards the end. Some of my favourite picks are by Jamie Leather, Guy Contact, Mehdi M & Etzu Mahkayah. It’s amazing how music can become even more meaningful when you connect with it later, especially when it ties back to those unforgettable moments on the dance floor.
