As the title says, this is mainly a test for my new mic (so exciting wkwk)

Context: I get very self conscious about my voice if I think anyone can hear, and alcohol seems to help with that. Having said that, I'd like to provide the disclaimer that I had drunk about half a bottle of red wine before recording this. I'll probably delete this when I'm sober out of better judgement, but until then, enjoy a shit, drunk cover of Ren'ai Yuusha.

kokoro を歌ってみた [eilidh]

I've been reading up on mixing, so I needed to test it out! I'm pretty happy with this. I still need to balance out the volume of the vocals across the whole thing but otherwise, it definitely sounds better than my mixing usually does.

Mozaik Role Mix Test D

I've joined a casual singing group with some friends and for the past few weeks have been trying to extend my range. Then one of them introduced me to Jekyll and Hyde (the musical). It's so GOOD.

Anyhow, as my range was sort of down to C3 and up to C6 (just about) this morning, I though I'd have a go at multitracking this.

Despite my ambitions, you can really tell I'm actually a contralto. My high notes used to be so nice, when I was young and a soprano...

This isn't really a serious attempt, it's just me playing about. As such it's barely edited, and there's no backing music.
