We are hereby presenting our first guest mix from DJ and crate digger MOQST.

Moqst recorded this mix as an imaginary summer session at 
Refshaleøen, waiting for the heat to come in the cold Copenhagen.
It all starts off with a dreamy/melancholic piano song from the Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi, to continue with an exploration of sensational grooves from all parts of the planet - Russian Synth-Pop, Jamaican Reggae to name a few.
MOQST is a French DJ based in Copenhagen for few years and signs the last track as a tribute for his roots.

For this 21sh show, I am very glad to have Limbe (@robin_limbe) on board! Limbe is a member of Pompelope (@pompelope), a party curator since 2016 who invites artists without any genre limitation, and with only leitmotiv: sharing their own vision of a party.

They’ve enlarged their activities during the successive lockdowns by hosting a series of online takeovers on IMR Radio, and by releasing their first compilation ‘Foule Contact’ last year including artists as such as Gui Scott, Running Hot, Eternal Love, Hysteric, JAI, and others...

This mix is all about the desire of going back behind the decks, and find back the heat of a club.

My guest in this week's Sunset Lovers show is France-based DJ/record collector and a passionate Parisian digger interested in the '80s and '90s hidden and forgotten dance music well known as Malko. 

He shares his findings on his eponymous YouTube channel, covering a large spectrum from new beat to kwaito, or italo house to dub.
Also, you can find some of his  DJ mixes, and radio shows on Rinse France and  Radio Nova.
He is influenced by the club culture (Hacienda, Boccaccio, Paradise Garage, Baia Degli Angeli…).
