DUA FOR ANXIETY, GRIEF (SADNESS, SORROW), DEPRESSION, WORRIES, HARDSHIP & DISTRESS

From the hadeeth of Abu Bakra رضي الله عنه that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The du’aa’ of the person who is in distress is:

اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْت

Allaahumma rahmataka arjoo fa laa takilni ilaa nafsi tarfata ‘ayn wa aslih li sha’ni kullahu laa ilaaha illa anta

O Allaah I hope for Your Mercy, do not entrust me to my own self even for the blink of an eye, correct for me all my matters, there is none worthy of worship except You.’

Surah Al Baqarah - Mishary Al Afasy

القرآن : هو كلام الله تعالى المنزل على نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم المتعبد بتلاوته 

ففيه شفاء للصدور ، وفيه للأعمى تبصرة ونور ، ويقول تعالى مخبراً عن كتابه: ( وننزل من القرءان ما هو شفاء ورحمة للمؤمنين ولا يزيد الظالمين إلا خساراً ) الإسراء / 82

وقال الله تعالى : ( يا أيها الناس قد جاءتكم موعظة من ربكم وشفاء لما في الصدور وهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين ) (57 ) يونس

 أي : يذهب ما في القلوب من أمراض من شك ونفاق وشرك وزيغ وميل ، فالقرآن يشفي من ذلك كله ، وهو أيضا رحمة يحصل فيها الإيمان والحكمة وطلب الخير والرغبة فيه ، وليس هذا إلا لمن آمن به وصدقه واتبعه فإنه يكون شفاء في حقه ورحمة

وهو نور ويقين ، وهو الحبل المتين ، وهو منهج الصالحين ، فيه أخبار الأولين من الأنبياء والصالحين ، وكيف أن من عصى أمرهم ذاق بأس الله وكان من الأذلين، وفيه آيات تحكي معجزات الله وقدرته في هذا الكون المتين ، وفيه بيان لأصل هذا الآدمي الذي كان من ماء مهين ، وفيه أحكام العقيدة التي يجب أن ينطوي عليها كل قلب مستكين ، وفيه أحكام الشريعة التي تبين المباح من الحرام وتبين الباطل من الحق المبين ، وفيه بيان المعاد ومصير الآدمي إما إلى نار يخزى فيها فيكون من الصاغرين ، وإما إلى جنة ذات جنات وعيون وزروع ومقام أمين .

ولما تبين بالبراهين والمعجزات أن القرآن هو عهد الله إلينا والذي ألزمنا الإقرار به والعمل بما فيه ، 
فما في القرآن من أمر أو نهي فواجب الوقوف عنده .
