Salat is a DJ, producer and promoter from Grodno, the cultural capital of Belarus. Around 4 years ago Igor moved to Gdansk, Poland, where he concentrated on creating his own music. The next logical step was the creation of his personal eponymous music label "Salat". The first release from the label you about to hear has two highly energetic dance tracks on board: "Fine Line" and "Groove By". Powerful bass, pulsating drums and finely chopped samples/acappellas - an exemplary recipe of dance floor bangers. Perfect for prime time to amaze the crowd. Igor Salat also oversees his main music label Mastak Records with a new 12” vinyl coming by the end of the autumn 2023. Stay tuned!

Salat Fine Line EP

Salat follows the release of Fine Line this summer with a more techno-focused EP. The title track resounds to pummelling kicks and a throbbing bass pulse. Adding to this robotic sensibility is a repetitive vocal sample looped through the arrangement. It makes for an exhilarating club track. On "Over the Hills", Salat opts for a different approach. With a focus on concrete weight, pummelling kicks and a rolling rhythm, it sounds inspired by the dance floor electro output of late 90s/early 00s pioneers like Biochip C or Decal. Once again, Salat's productions deserve praise for following the road less travelled.

Salat is a DJ and producer from Belarus.
"You'll never guess what salat will be today."

His compilations and his tracks are impossible to predict.
Salat releases driving energetic dance tracks that range from dark techno, sometimes influenced by British garage, to sensual bass and breakbeat, with deep ambient.

Igor Salato, who now lives in Warsaw (Poland), has been engaged in music and organizing parties and festivals in Belarus since childhood.

2006 started his career .
2008-2016 Salat was focused on promoting underground culture and electronic music in Belarus, organizing raves and festivals.
2014-2016 «Mirum music festival” .

In 2019 Salat moved to Europe and concentrated on creating his own music .
At the beginning of 2023, he launched the vinyl label “Mastak”.

The first “Migration” release was released as an EP on the Mastak label, and the first release of a new 12-inch vinyl 01.12.2023.
The mastak is in search of young talented musicians to release their music on vinyl.
