Fifty years after his passing, we pay homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini—an exceptional poet, a visionary filmmaker, and a bold intellectual who fearlessly challenged power, society, and their deepest contradictions.

His tragic death in Ostia left an immense void in the cultural landscape, in Italy and far beyond. Pasolini was more than an artist: he was a sharp, courageous, and often prophetic voice. His work and ideas continue to resonate today with the force of someone who never ceased to pursue truth.

This special show on LYL Radio honors him through music, featuring a curated selection of soundtracks from his films—composed by legends such as Ennio Morricone and Piero Umiliani—alongside songs dedicated to him by international artists including Patti Smith, Fabrizio De André, Black Sun Productions.

A musical journey to remember, to reflect, and to celebrate one of the most influential figures of the twentieth century.
