The brass arrangement by Martin Barry included an adaptation of the last verse and descant for Blaenwern by Christopher Maxim, to whom grateful acknowledgement is made.

O Sacrum Convivium (Martin Barry)

The closing hymn from the Mass of Ordination at St John's Cathedral Salford, 16 July 2016. The choir were processing out during the last verse (contrary to any plans that had been agreed!), hence the disappearing descant at the end - the sopranos, near the front of the procession, walked as slowly as they could without actually coming to a standstill, but in the end they had to admit defeat and walk out of the building. A nice illustration of one of the problems with the 'recessional hymn' in the Catholic Mass.
