Ghita - La Montagna d’Oro

Ghita starts her journey into the music world in 2019 when she begins to hang around contact improvisation and ecstatic dance scenes. Later, collaborating with some conscious clubs in Amsterdam her initial interest for the electronic music brought her, in March 2020, to compose independently and recreationally her sets/mixtapes.
Her music imprint is mainly rich of oriental and tribal sounds with hints recalling her roots: south of  Italy folk chants and ancestral music rich of oniric and female features.

Ghita inizia il suo viaggio nel mondo della musica nel 2019 quando inizia a frequentare ambienti legati alla Contact Improvisation e all’Ecstatic Dance. Successivamente collabora con alcuni conscious club di Amsterdam e inizia a interessarsi di musica elettronica che la portano poi ,nel marzo 2020,  a comporre i suoi primi mixati in modo indipendente e amatoriale. 
Il suo imprinting musicale è prevalentemente ricco di suoni legati alla musica mediorientale e tribale con molte sfumature che ricordano le sue radici: canti popolari del sud italia e musiche ancestrali ricchi di connotati onirici e femminili.

Marsha is an electronic music DJ based in Athens, Greece. She brings storytelling through music and magic. She believes that human beings need music, stories and magic in the same way that plants need sun and rain. 

She loved music from a very early age. It was her father who inspired and introduced her to it. "I remember spending Saturday mornings with my father in vinyl shops when I was a little kid. I’ve been fortunate enough to have grown up listening to quality disco, soul & rock. Music is a passion that was nurtured since my childhood she says.

She studied Business Studies and Marketing and worked as a Marketer but her passion for music prompted her to quit her plum job and pursue her love for music. Her drive and ambition lead her to score quickly her first gig at a club in Athens where she was offered a residency straight away. Since then she has performed in different well-known venues along with Timo Maas, Bedouin, Behrouz, Agoria, Rampue, YokoO, Nico Stojan, Viken Arman, Mira, Mimi Love, Armen Miran, Stavroz, Oceanvs Orientalis, Lum, Kerala Dust, Kora, Kate Simko, Magda, Kalipo, Mike Servito, Gardens of God etc. 

She is an artist with a delicate taste and a unique sound who has found her own place in the world of deep electronic music. She is the founder of Deep House Athens channel and, being a true Yoga lover, she is also co-founder of Music & Yoga Project. 

She is running her own project called "Marsha Invites”, a series of events where Marsha invites favourite DJ's to share with her stories and special musical moments. She is also a resident DJ producer at Home 89.1 radio station.

Marsha e’ una DJ di musica elettronica con base ad Atene in Grecia, che narra delle storie attraverso la musica e la sua magia. Marsha crede che l’essere umano necessita di musica, storie e magia cosi’ come le piante necessitano di sole e pioggia.

Ama la musica sin da bambina, e’ stato il padre ad ispirarla e ad introdurgliela. “Ricordo i Sabato mattina trascorsi con mio padre nei negozi di dischi quando ero una bambina, sono stata abbastanza fortunata crescendo ascoltando disco, soul e rock di qualita’; la musica e’ una passione di cui mi sono nutrita sin dalla mia infanzia” lei dice.

Marsha ha studiato Commercio e Marketing lavorando come Venditrice ma la sua passione per la musica ben presto la porto’ a lasciare tale lavoro per dedicarsi al suo amore per la musica a tempo pieno. Il suo focus ed ambizioni la portarono ben presto alla prima esibizione dal vivo in una discoteca di Atene, al termine della quale le fu offerta direttamente la residenza. Da allora si e’ esibita in diverse discoteche ben conosciute di Atene insieme a Timo Maas, Bedouin, Behrouz, Agoria, Rampue, YokoO, Nico Stojan, Viken Arman, Mira, Mimi Love, Armen Miran, Stavroz, Oceanvs Orientalis, Lum, Kerala Dust, Kora, Kate Simko, Magda, Kalipo, Mike Servito, Gardens of God ecc.

Marsha e’ un artista con un gusto musicale delicato ed una sonorita’ unica che ha trovato il proprio mondo all’interno della scena elettronica deep. E’ la fondatrice del canale Deep House Athens ed essendo una vera amante delle pratiche Yoga e’ anche co-fondatrice del Music & Yoga Project.

DJ Flavya - Le Figlie dei Faraoni

Flavya is an independent DJ, music producer and ethnomusicologist with Brazilian-American nationality. She is now connecting the alternative music scenes of New York City (USA) and São Paulo (BR) more than ever, helped by her family roots in both countries. 
In 2009, she started her journey as a DJ.
FlavYa's unique and eclectic style combines traditional brazilian & latin folkloric sounds with electro hip-hop beats; born in Europe, raised in both the United States and Brazil, Flavya is no stranger to multicultural experiences, living in diverse neighborhoods and being exposed to many different music communities.
In her musical career, Flavya has performed at several festivals and parties in Brazil and the United States; in 2019 she released her single “Vamos” together with Cuban bassist Aniel Somellian, the project in partnership with Latam magazine. She has released official remixes of the songs “Não vou descansar” by Francisco el Hombre, “Mil Vidas” by Bixiga 70, “Racha a Canela” by Braza, “Los Animales” by Corina Lawrence and “Se Apaga” by Gui Hargreaves. She produced the original single “Encarar” with Lurdez da Luz also.

Flavya è una DJ indipendente, produttrice musicale ed etnomusicologa con doppia nazionalità, Brasiliana e Statunitense. Adesso più che mai, e con l’aiuto della sua famiglia radicata in entrambi paesi, sta connettendo la scena musicale alternative di New York (USA) con quella di San Paolo (BR).
Nel 2009 ha intrapreso il suo percorso da DJ.
Lo stile unico ed eclettico di Flavya combina le sonorità tradizionali Brasiliane e il folclore latino con beats electro hip-hop; nata in Europa, cresciuta tra Stati Uniti e Brasile, Flavya non è estranea a esperienze culturali essendo esposta a molte comunità musicali differenti.
Nella sua carriera musicale Flavya ha performato a svariati festival e serate tra Brasile e Stati Uniti; nel 2019 ha prodotto il suo primo singolo “Vamos” insieme al bassista Cubano Aniel Somellian, un progetto in partenariato con la rivista Latam. “Procida Ritual Project non è l'idea romantica e visionaria di un'isola ancorata alle sue radici, ma un percorso convinto, teso a dare nuova vita ai suoni delle celebrazioni rituali della comunità procidana”.


Pier Paolo Polcari, compositore, produttore, co-fondatore dell'iconica band partenopea Almamegretta, torna con un nuovo lavoro musicale “Procida Ritual Project”.
Il progetto, dal respiro fortemente antropologico e mediterraneo, ideato insieme a Leonardo Scotto di Monaco, artista e studioso di tradizioni locali, si sviluppa in seno a al programma “Procida Capitale della Cultura 2022” e nasce con l’obiettivo di valorizzare la tradizione, proteggendo il passato proiettandolo nel futuro, preservando le identità, facendo dialogare le generazioni, con il fine di salvare dall'estinzione l'enorme patrimonio culturale immateriale dell'isola di Procida.
La chiave del progetto è una banca dati di “field-recordings” (registrazioni sul campo) nel cui nucleo troviamo i celebri riti della Settimana Santa e della Processione dei Misteri: una vera e propria miniera di identità fatta di simboli che avanzano sulle tracce di echi secolari.
Le matrici antiche, che rimarranno riconoscibili, danno vita a suggestivi percorsi di rielaborazione autoriale in chiave elettronica, con il contributo di importanti musicisti come Daniele Ubik (sax, percussioni, hang e voci) e Marzouk Mejri (darbouka, flauto tunisino, voci e percussioni).
Tra le fonti di ispirazione più suggestive c’è il “Menerio”, un grande falò contadino che la gente dell’isola accendeva, salutando idealmente l'inizio della primavera: un rito di purificazione che in passato era introdotto da invocazioni e rulli di tamburi e che Procida Ritual Project riporta in vita.

Nel primo singolo “Ritual” risuonano i canti devozionali dedicati alla Madonna delle Grazie, che i fedeli intonano nel mese di luglio: una sorta di rosario dialettale con suoni e toni ancestrali. E ancora, spunti per la costruzione di questo progetto vengono dalla novena dialettale che, a fine ottobre, nella lunga vigilia della celebrazione dei defunti, i fedeli sono soliti cantare in un rito collettivo nato per esorcizzare la morte.

RITUAL PROJECT PROCIDA diventa anche il nome di una live band, che si propone di continuare a sperimentare e a ricercare, dal vivo e in studio di registrazione, da subito, attraverso la pubblicazione curata da Salgari Records in formato digitale e su vinile, in una edizione limitata di trecento copie.

Le grafiche sono di Federico Spini, che ha rielaborato il pregevole materiale fotografico ​​di Roberta Riccio, in cui vengono ritratti i Turchini durante la processione del Venerdì Santo.

Active since 2016, from the Marche region of Italy and currently based in Turin, Lavalamp explores the sounds and rhythms of South American and Caribbean folklore with its various nuances and influences, particularly those from the African diaspora.
She ranges in genres and Bpm, trying in each set to trace a journey and a varied narrative, offering a selection that goes from the old school to the contemporary electronic scene, constantly searching for new sounds but with a nostalgic and pop heart.
For years, she has been moving in the world of nightlife in front of  and behind the consolle, at the bar and organising gigs.
Since 2024 she has been pouring her passion and in-depth musical and cultural research relating to the Caribbean and South America into the creation of La Que - a programme broadcast monthly on RBL Torino, together with Camila Restrepo (Salgari Records) 

She could only choose "Il Corsaro Nero" (The Black Corsair), one of the few Salgari's Travels set in the Caribbean Sea.

extensive 10-year experience travelling the world performing, producing and working as sound designer, sound researcher and composer for film and stage. 
With this project, she seek to embrace and maintain alive the multicultural rituals that take us into a deeper soul realm and tribe consciousness. 
With her heart deeply rooted in nature, regeneration and conscious living, her music transcends the boundaries of the ordinary and goes into exploring deeper dimensions of Life. 
NAOBA features the mysticism of ancestral music and subtle electronic elements as pivotal force to come into contact with the inner realms. 
Her musical sets conjure expansive, multicultural universes to provide dance floors with no boundaries, nestled deep in the forest and illuminated by ceremonial fires.

Con questo progetto cerca di abbracciare e mantenere vivi i rituali multiculturali con quella consapevolezza tribale che svela un regno dell'anima più profondo. 
Con il cuore profondamente radicato nella natura ed uno stile di vita consapevole e rigenerativo, la sua musica trascende i confini dell'ordinario e va ad esplorare dimensioni più profonde della vita.
NAOBA intreccia il misticismo della musica ancestrale con elementi elettronici raffinati, utilizzandoli come forza cardine per entrare in contatto il mondo interiore. 
I suoi set musicali evocano universi inclusivi e multiculturali per costruire dancefloor senza confini, immersi nella foresta e illuminati da fuochi cerimoniali.

Barbarella is a DJ and producer from Dresden, Germany.
As music has always been an important part of her life, she was testing and collecting different styles, before she finally found her home in deep, melodic and bassy sounds from all over the globe, somewhere between tradition and modernity. The major influence on her musical creation emerges from the spanish-speaking parts of the world, as you can hear in her sets and productions. 
Barbarella is also a member of the duo "Pauken & Trompeten", organizing parties in her hometown and hosting a podcast series.
