Crossing his lawn I saw that his front door was still open and he was leaning against a table in the hall, heavy with dejection or sleep. ‘Nothing happened,’ he said wanly. ‘I waited, and about four o’clock she came to the window and stood there for a minute and then turned out the light.’ His house had never seemed so enormous to me as it did that night when we hunted through the great rooms for cigarettes. We pushed aside curtains that were like pavilions and felt over innumerable feet of dark wall for electric light switches—once I tumbled with a sort of splash upon the keys of a ghostly piano. There was an inexplicable amount of dust everywhere and the rooms were musty as though they hadn’t been aired for many days. I found the humidor on an unfamiliar table with two stale dry cigarettes inside. Throwing open the French windows of the drawing-room we sat smoking out into the darkness. Antonio Alterino knows that life is unique and precious. This is his third offering for Shango Records. These tracks can grow a new beginning into an end. Duygu Civas and Touzani are the helping hands in a cold, rainy night.

What is love for you?
I am the father of a 3yo little girl, so when I think about the love she's the first thing that springs to mind!
Love is the ultimate necessity to give without needing a return. Giving love to others around us is the most generous act we are capable of, while receiving love is what makes us bloom.
I would have never made this EP without the love and support of the love of my life, my partner in crime, my best friend: my beautiful wife who pushed me to share the music I had inside of me with the world.

What's the closest thing to real magic for you?
We all experience magic every day as the driving force that binds the universe together. I became Buddhist a few years ago which gave me a way to connect to that energy. With this in hand, you can overcome any obstacle in your life and you become the only architect of your happiness and one of the people around you. It doesn't beat Dr Strange but we're not too far off :)

What's the most useless talent you have?
I can make my eyes tremble. Don't ask me how, I just can. Yes, I know it's creepy.
