Hypnosis is often understood as a state of consciousness in which a person becomes more open to suggestions and more receptive to the ideas and suggestions of others. In this sense, hypnosis can be seen as an altered state of consciousness that allows a person to temporarily suspend their normal critical faculties and enter a more receptive state of mind.
The experience of being in the Hypnotic Forest can vary widely from person to person, but many people describe it as feeling profoundly relaxed or meditative. 
Hypnosis has a variety of practical uses, including helping people reduce pain, overcome phobias and bad habits, and improve sleep. It is also sometimes used in therapy to help people explore and address unconscious thoughts and feelings.
