In August 2010 I teamed up with Johan Agebjörn and Le Prix to write and record for Johan's forthcoming solo album, "Casablanca Nights". Me and Johan A had already been writing a few songs together for that album, but we needed a few more and wanted a duet for Sally Shapiro to sing.
We took a few hours in the studio and came up with this demo. Johan had already done most of the instrumentals, so what we did really was the melodies and lyrics. We recorded a brief version in the studio with me singing the male bits and leaving out the rest for Sally to sing later.
My bits were replaced (all according to plan) by Fred Ventura, an italo disco hero that Johan managed to track down and convince to join the duet. It was released both as an album track and a 12" on Flashback Records (FIN).
I had only written the first part of the lyric when we recorded this, so the first verse was just copied out on the second, but apart from that, I think this early demo sound quite similar to the final result. Since I'm singing on this demo I thought it was fun to put it up here anyway
