New York and L.A. are the cities we call home. Places where musical inspiration wonders through the air and eventually reaches out to those who listen. We pride ourselves with our A&R department who have discovered and pushed a great number of talented musicians from all over the world. One of these artist’s is Mexico City resident Levantine who returns to Media Blackout with his second outing ‘So Lost’. A feel-good journey with highly emotional content; being one of those tracks that grabs you from the word go. Full of soul, huge synth lines and instant accessibility.

On remix duty we give you non other than nu-disco royalty ‘Pherotone’ who enjoyed a tremendous year with impressive work for stand out labels Nu Disco Your Disco, Continental Records and Spirit Soul Records. His interpretation adds groovy beats and swinging rhythms, keeping the harmonic and vocal values intact. The second remix comes courtesy of French 80's synth maestro ‘Tommy ’86’ who delivers another one of his trademark dance-floor weapons; with a more up-tempo atmosphere, bubbly synth-bass and great use of effects to create a mind-bending peak time moment.

This release is aimed straight at the discerning house/nu-disco listeners, who know quality when they hear it. With it’s bass driven, swinging synth licks, clever programming; harmonic vocal and remix variations ‘So Lost’ will no doubt find it’s way into the top of the playing charts. What better way to start 2015 than with another quality Media Blackout Inc. release that was made in New York, L.A., Mexico City, Barcelona and Paris but was meant for the whole planet to enjoy. ‘So Lost’ sees a world-wide release on January 12th, 2015!
