RetroRespect

This was originally going to be on my album 'Help Us Find The Groove' but it unfortunately got cut due to problems with Logic Pro X. I managed to recover the stems of the track and I decided to reconstruct this track as it's own single.

This track samples vocals from 'The Fox and The Hound' (1981), 'Oliver and Company' (1988) and 'All Dogs Go To Heaven' (1989), three of some of my favourite animated films growing up. Since all films feature the theme of companionship with dogs/cats, I felt it was necessary to recapture that theme through this 80's inspired track.

Composed with samples from 'The Fox And The Hound', and synth overdubs of my vintage Yamaha DX21 Synthesiser from 1985.
