Challenge 96 - Spacemusic Blues

This is the soundtrack of a animated video music that I made. This was created as a challenge for myself, to experiment with animation and music composition and to invoke one of my old projects, "Spiralis".  In 2020 I did a musical interactive installation project in Unity and this is a second approach to this project 4 years later, where I remade the animations and recorded and reconstructed the music theme, with better audio conditions, transforming it into a music animation video.

Lucanus Cervus Theme - A BEETLE ADVENTURE (Gamers4Nature gamejam)

This beautiful and nostalgic piano piece was composed by the Portuguese composer António Fragoso (1897 - 1918). This piece, Aria, is the first of the "Three Pieces of the XIII Century". It is followed by a Minueto and ends with a Gavotte.
  
After recording this piece, it took me a while to figure out what image, footage or drawings could be a good illustration for this music... and then I imagined a landscape. I tried to digitally paint and animate this landscape and combine these two artistic expressions, music and painting, into a musical, delicate and nostalgic moment.  

I hope this brings some light into your day and that you enjoy it.

Aria - António Fragoso - Musical Moment 2

A little musical moment. I invite you to sit and contemplate.

This is a raw performance, without cuts or hundreds of takes. I recorded it and shared it with you as it is. I just wanted to make music, express myself through art and music, share it and start my artist journey, starting with letting go of perfectionism. 

And just a brief presentation, Hi, I am Salomé and I am a pianist, piano teacher and visual artist. This is my first recording and my first piano video on YouTube. I hope you like it. :)

"Gris" sound Cover - loop using Ableton Live

This is the MIDI audio track from a small piece I wrote for a reencounter with my friends, Pedro (Lute and Guitar) and Ana (flute recorder and voice). We played it and it was an enjoyable shared musical moment.

Since their repertoire is from Early Music, I tried to implement some polyphony, imitative style and the Lydian mode, giving it a modern personal taste.
