Hi I'm Sal and welcome to my podcast The Hypnotic Hour. 

I've been immersed in music as far back as I can remember. Like 90's kids, I was fascinated by all the mainstream star's, then briefly into 90's Rap & Hip hop, then alternatve Rock... Then Metallica!! By this time I was a playing lead guitar! 

It wasn't until I was introduced  a track by Airgap called Resolved that things changed drastically. I found myself deeply immersed into the Yoshitoshi and Hooj choons progressive sounds. Spending countless hours trying to perfect the art of picking tracks and mixing seamlessly. 

I was a top 5 finalist for the Ministry of Sound DJ competition which was in conjunction with Atomix which is now renamed as Virtual DJ. I then went on to be 1st runner up in the very first ever Juice presents DJ Quest ( In search of Malaysia's best DJ) back when I lived in Malaysia K.L for 6 years. 

These days I try and make recordings for my podcast, I would like to make them more frequently but having a full time career makes it rather difficult. When I do make a mix you can rest assure that plenty of time, care and preparation has gone into the mix as a good story should be unforgettable.

I have a couple of bootlegs available for download, if you are a DJ and feature any of these in your set, please tag me, it means a lot.
