I'll Be Okay [MIKU EXPO 2024 Song Contest]

"Haha Jan you forgot to mention you're using his Lite" I did NOT. I STOLE him from crow... Which is to say they kindly rendered this for me......

So the thing about this cover. Is that it dates back to January 2023. crow offered to render eem for me. I said, oh yay! Just remove my breathiness parameter, which I had all the way down to use his Lite, and it should be perfect. (It wasn't perfect.) I guess I forgot I do a LOT MORE to make his Lite sound alright throughout.

It's mostly the tension parameter I messed with, iirc - this is why some parts of this sound a little weird. Then I ALSO messed up the mixing, so I truly lost hope. Until tonight. When I decided that it was a good idea to speedrun mixing this old file, because it makes me yearn for GENBU in his entirety, after all... I mean his voicebank. I mean his flesh. Voicebank. Voicebank.

Hello~ I have Genbu! I actually cried last night when I got him bc I wasn't expecting it even slightly, a friend gave me 150$ to buy him and SynthV Pro which was an unreal experience.

I love Genbu so much and I have another cover planned for him tomorrow (hopefully we'll see about that it might be a little later but it is coming I have a video all prepared already.) and it's a song that I absolutely love, so I hope you look forward to that!

Rotten Girl; Grotesque Romance. It's such a classic and it has a really good range to show him off! I originally just started this to get used to the new way of tuning in SynthV but then oops I took it too far... again. But I really like how it came out! especially the bridge, the effect I found for that just really adds to it and gives it a good creep factor I feel.
