Saltopá is a German-Peruvian artist, DJ and producer. Although his roots lie in the comparatively hard Techno of Frankfurt and the Schranz of the late nineties, his current sound is more spherical and playful, his style energetic and unpretentious. He moves freely through all genres and does not shy away from vocals as a passionate singer. His mixes strike the curve between the unbridled South American rhythms and the sometimes sinister, technical infatuation of the early „Sound of Frankfurt“ and today’s Minimal House.

Saltopá ist ein deutsch-peruanischer Künstler, Dj und Produzent. 

Obwohl seine Wurzeln im vergleichsweise harten Frankfurter Techno und dem Schranz der späten Neunziger Jahre liegen, ist sein heutiger Sound sphärischer und verspielter, sein Stil energetisch und unprätentiös. Er bewegt sich frei durch alle Genres und scheut sich als leidenschaftlicher Sänger auch nicht vor Vocals. Seine Mixes schlagen den Bogen zwischen der Zügellosigkeit südamerikanischer Rhythmen und der mitunter düsteren Technikverliebtheit des frühen „Sound of Frankfurt“ und heutigen Minimal House.
