Marcy is my personal savior and did SO MUCH sound design/foley work without me ever giving her context for what she was doing. I also asked hey are you good at humming because you are good at everything else. What do you KNOW? She was. Though, turns out we didn't want to give xefros a canonical voice (so far it had just been me gasping/sighing etc in cutscenes) Anyway, here is an unused track aptly named "XEFSAD dot WAV" which................. might get redone later? who knows how sad things will get? ha! YOU? unlikely.

Those of you who know me know I like to indulge in cheesy adventure movie orchestra sounds from time to time, but it's rare that I do it in a manner as eclectic as this. Courage involves everything it *could* involve: brass swells, music boxes, string quartets, chiptune... Courage has it all, baby.

The melody from the choruses (chorii?) is a tune I woke up with in my head one day, so I decided to jot it down. Fans of the games of video might notice similarities in rhythm and mood to Awakening from Minit or Heartache from Undertale. I dunno, dude. I just came up with this one day, and I really can't comment on whether or not there's any significance to this. It just... is.

The melody playing off against itself in perfect contrary motion during the first verse is pretty damn tight tho.
