ORIGINAL Citation (Oct 2014): Rosetta’s Plasma Consortium (RPC) has uncovered a mysterious ‘song’ that Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is singing into space. The comet seems to be emitting a ‘song’ in the form of oscillations in the magnetic field in the comet’s environment. It is being sung at 40-50 millihertz, far below human hearing, which typically picks up sound between 20 Hz and 20 kHz. To make the music audible to the human ear, the frequencies have been increased in this recording. Well...it all started in high school when me and my friend and I were listening to Agoraphobic Nosebleed. I made the comment that it sounded like noise...

He went home and did a google search for noise. Among the results was FACIALMESS. The first pure noise track I ever heard was, "Red Hot Wig Girl."

My brain changed that day. It was what I was looking for all of my life in music. 

Noise fills a gap in my brain. It's like a key that fits into a lock. Listening to harshnoise helps my focus and motivates me much the same as other music does for everyone else.

When I was a kid I had a squeaky fan in my room. It made the same noise over and over and over and over all night long. The more I listened to it my mind started applying patterns and rhythm to it. I knew it was completely in my head and it fascinated me that I could change what I heard and how I heard it. All the while it was the exact same sound over and over...that's kind of how noise is to me.

I don't know man...I guess it's evolution. I grew up listening to what ever my parents did. The mamas and the papas, Pink Floyd, zz top, Kansas, Peter, Paul, and Mary. My mom listens to hippy folk music and my dad listens to...what would now be...classic rock. 

I moved into country music and then to 90's era, like, dance and rap. In Junior high I got into punk rock. High school it was hard core onto metal. My whole life after 7th grade has been a pursuit of the absolute heaviest music out there. I promise if you listen to ANY Masonna track you will agree that it can't get much more...well...anything than that...

Just progression dude...
