Now teaming up with Italian live duo JazzyFunk who haven't released on less renowned labels including Sleezy Deep, Prison Entertainment or Street King has led to the wonderful song called Element of Life (Eds Dream) which is combining both a beautiful dreamy backing with an outstanding atmospheric vocal line. A true gem for the beaches of the world. It has written summer all over it.

<p>Cele&#8217;s &#8220;Non Stop&#8221; EP serves as his first original release on our label and he sure lands with a bang as opener &#8220;Like A Joint&#8221; sets the tone with an acidic bassline and subliminal beeps. The title track is up next, sporting a shuffling rhythm section that provides the backdrop for spoken word dialog that seems to be the recurring theme in all three tracks. &#8220;Bass Stop&#8221; acts as the closer and employs an even sparser arrangement within which, eerie streamlined synths complement more mangled, spoken word vocals.</p>

Belgium’s music scene has few cornerstones. R&S set a first in the 80s, Soulwax came in the 90s and Eskimo emerged in the early 00s, its evolution since more colourful than all of them combined. Taking music into emotion, introducing new names and spotlighting the cream of the current crop, ‘The Orange Collection’ is bright, genial and buoyant. 

‘The Orange Collection’ is the latest installment in a new compilation series on Eskimo based around colours. Following the lauded first three chapters in this enterprising series -Pink, Blue and Green- Eskimo once again selected 12 songs with exquisite care. An effortless journey encompassing a range of sounds through indie dance, nu disco and electronica, it’s reassuring to find that Eskimo still stands for timeless quality and originality.
