Today we are engaging in speeches about these liberate older men who were neither sold nor bought. And evenly, these strong untied women were neither sold nor bought. Those who sacrificed are buried and no more for their land. Now we are the new generation, and encourage each other, hand in hand, staying beside each other.

Ibrahim Electric is one of today's most raunchy eclectic Danish jazz-bands, a band that draws inspiration from instrumental surf rock, Arabian scales, afrobeat, Booker T. & the MG's and The Doors and known for their stimulating, swashbuckling and unpretentious live performances. 
The band, who has recently released the album "Royal Air Maroc", consists of the three amazing young jazz musicians Niclas Knudsen (guitar), Jeppe Tuxen (Hammond B3) and Stefan Pasborg (drums). 

For the concert at Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Ibrahim Eclectic has invited the two fantastic Moroccan musicians Abdelmajidid Bekkas and Abdelfattah Houssaini. 
Knudsen, Pasborg and Tuxen were so captivated by these two musicians when meeting them in a festival in Rabat, Marocco, that they decided to invite them to Scandinavia. 

Majid Bekkas, who is a singer and a guitarist and plays the three stringed bass plucked Guembri, is already a big name on the world music scene, and Abdelfattah Houssaini is a well-known and highly respected percussionist.

Nomad, Tuareg guitarist, singer, and songwriter Omara “Bombino” Moctarin's Nonesuch debut album, was produced by The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, who invited the Niger-born artist and his band to Nashville for the recording at Auerbach's studio, Easy Eye Sound. NPR’s Fresh Air has called Bombino “a young performer with the charisma and probing imagination to become the first Tuareg star.” The LP is pressed on 140-gram vinyl. Pre-orders of Nomad on CD and vinyl include an instant download of the album track “Azamane Tiliade.”
