Heading down the path from an impossible crossroads, 
three different paths left behind
Shedding the weight of a years conscious load,
with a satisfaction i'm yet to find

With lessons learnt and many tales to tell,
i salute the past four years
From the hurdles where i stumbled and fell,
to all my loves, laughs and fears

It got so dark in the city, 
I lost everything i went there looking for

Heading down the path where the sand meets the sea,
the tide offers blue clarity
Washing up the frayed rope that anchored me,
I hang it from an old oak tree

It reminds me of many good times had, 
and what i've now set out to find
For all the love and kinds words i am glad,
With one girl especially in mind

And in time i see what's on my mind
A darkness rolls in from the sky
In my tracks the lights burn brighter (than before).
