contemporary characters in an understated style sensitive to the landscapes and history
that have shaped them, and leaving open the possibility for these subjects to surprise or
captivate us.

Hi ✨ today I’m playing with Julien, whose seriously charming musical world I got to know when we first met and quickly decided to play sets together, under the name Mein Herz. That was 13 years ago and since then, Julien’s never stopped curating and releasing amazing compilations like Sky Girl (Efficient Space), Peekaboo (The Trilogy Tapes) and more recently READY-ஆ? (Good Morning Tapes), with regular appearances on NTS. His scope is wide, his imagination colourful and he’s one of the most passionate people I know. The first half hour is his - a selection of phantasmagoric post-rock and indie goodies - followed by distorted ambient and washed-out melodies in the second half, from yours truly (with newly-released tracks by CD3, Smerz and Brannten Schnüre 🙏). Enjoy!
