Lunks is a "fresh" french duo where Electronica, Deep, Techno and Jazz are the main aesthetic directions. Complex polyrhythms and scale progressions are the building blocks of their first groovy EP. 

The two tracks draw a connection between two parallel sound dimensions. A deep bassline and resonant chords are floating asynchronously through the "Magellanic Clouds". 
The sound space is maximized on "Massaz" with many cosmic pads and dark atmospheric synth. Syncopated and ragtime beats accentuate catchy choruses and produce an original fusion between melodic lines and synchronized patterns.

Né dans nord de la france, Sam Def ( Lunks) a toujours ete attire par la musique electronique. A la fin des années 80, il s'intéresse plus particulierèment vers les sons de detroit "Metroplex, Transmat ect..." où il se procure ses premiers vinyls. Sam se met au djing et commence à jouer en public au début des années 90 dans des soirées underground. Aujourd'hui, ses sets développent un son Detroitesque electronica .Sam Def compose également depuis 2002 en solo.En 2013 il signe sur le Label Flying Flowers pour la sortie " Lunks EP ". D'autres productions sont prevues prochainement.
      
Born in the north of France, Sam Def (Lunks) has always been attracted by electronic music . At the end of the 80's, he was more interested by the sounds of detroit "metroplex" where he buys his first records. He started to play in public in the beginning of the 90's in underground parties. Today, his sets develop an Detroitesque electronica sounds. Sam Def has been composing in solo since 2002.
In 2013 he signed on flying flowers records Label for the release  " Lunks EP ".
