Whilst I wrap up the latest EP, I delved into outside influences, including Boards of Canada. Late to the party, I now realize just how forward-thinking and expansive their output is. I fell in love with 'Kaini Industries' immediately, and felt compelled to take it somewhere it had never been. Some in-depth research led me to the back story, and how the industries had been a means to create employment for a settlement of Cree Indians. The influence of this was something I wanted to incorporate into the edit itself. This is my interpretation, I hope you enjoy

The Course Of Empire EP is based off of this series of art painted by Thomas Cole. The Byron poem in the beginning of the article called "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" is the seed idea that inspired the EP a year and a half ago. There are 5 songs in the EP. One for each painting.

I started all the ridiculousness I will put on here during the end of May 2013 and have continued off and on since then. I basically have no idea what the hell I'm doing when it comes to music and producing it, these are just the sounds I make when I need to vent a little.
