Blondie

My first ever recorded guitar instrumental, guys... well, some years ago :) Come as it was played originally, with some subtle 2016 remastering. One day I played this light piano back loop and then improvised the tune with my Cordoba Nylon String guitar. Added few lines of bass, flute, strings, and percs in the Logic Pro. All played on M-Audio Axiom Pro keyboard connected to Mac. Cordoba guitar (on the cover art) recorded through MBox2 interface, I think, or maybe embedded Macbook mic. Track comes from the older hard drive, with as-is guitar impromptu recording, meaning a vintage feeling. Meaning extra charm, right? 

I posted the track celebration celebrating 5,000 SC plays. Way beyond 3 Million by now somehow, woah! Thank you!

Enjoy the mini Indie Disco Dance SYNTHS-phony of grooves and vibes! Yes, it is short by the design. Orders to make it longer are not longer accepted :P  What can you do in 3 minutes, you cannot do in a half?

30 seconds "Speaker Dust Cleaner", folks. Quickly wipes the dust from your studio monitors, headphones and/or sub-woofer 1.5 feet in diameter. Guaranteed :) It's designed to be half-a-minute short. Same time, it indeed has intro, verse, chorus, bridge and outro. Played with ~20 Korg and MiniMoog synths lines and some specks of my Fender Stratocaster guitar. The Groove Surfer is a full original mix (not preview or teaser ;) 

Available for licensing. For example, a commercial for "world goes to a drain", - crazy, risky and "one way" by definition as surfing. You can only enjoy a quick ride and only hope to get there :)

Funtronica

The Groove Surfer

I love impressionists (that's why Claude Monet is on the cover) and wanted to explore the same Impressionism in music. There is no single apring, all shorter strokes and drops. Rather hues and hints. The Shadows if you will :) 

Other challenge, I indulged myself was to make this SYNTH-phony, using only MOOG sounds. It was so tempting to play guitar or strings or flute. I wanted to stay focus played my favorite Arturia MiniMoog, Moog Modular, and AniMoog. Otherwise one piano, percussion made in Korg Gadget, produced in Ableton Live 9 with IK Multimedia mastering tools.

 I extracted this quote from Robert Moog, greatly respected engineer and artist of sound, from his interview available on YouTube:

"It is something between discovering and witnessing" - Robert Moog

Some parts, like the wobbly/slides/something sounds you can distinctly hear in the into, I played by hand and ear on AniMoog. This is the iPad app invented by Moog Foundation. You slide over iPad surface to design and create unique vibes and sound colors. I know, if there is someone thinking to "throw a tomato" at the iPad musicians, please prepare one for maestro Jean-Michael Jarre, he-he :D  I'm not placing myself anywhere close, of course, but was so excited, after played this AniMoog part here, to see the one JMJ video, where he is playing the same app for his number one album of the year! In one of Electronica 1 video you can see the iPad on the right, green-ish look of AniMoog. 

The cover art is a fragment of Claude Monet "Water Lilies", 1920s. I took the photo earlier this year, in Museum of Modern Art, New York. I noticed and specifically took a shot of "THE EYES" I saw (see them in right lower corner?). Nice, can spend hours when get a chance. Thank you ALL for the support!

Jamn' my Fender Strat the other day, found some nice chords progression. Built something around it same day, using LogicX on Mac. Unrefined and unpolished playing, guys. Layered bass, rhythm and played impromptu solo over. I dug up the rack from a hard-drive, so this couple years recording comes as-is, no refinments. Contains pure inspiration with the mistakes provided :)   Juss having some fun...  :D

More reflective and subtle atmos here, can be more suitable as a backtrack. Has no original Spoken and the all instruments are more verby/ambient. Hope it inspires you for yet another Spoken Word or improve instrumentation on guitar, piano or else. I just rearranged the original. In this cut the Cello part an intro. The mid space of the track, starting at 0:40-0:50 and going to outro at 2:40, is the place to run your new ART over. It can be additionally looped. Let me know it need different rearrangement to fit your take. I will be more than happy to do it! :D

My punk arse needed to play something very raw immediately! Like right NOW! :) Gonna get bumpy and you've being warned! hell yeah, one minute (and now by persistent request two minutes :)! I bet it finishes earlier when you press a Skip button :P  

I broke 3 good guitar picks on my Yamaha electric bass on this outburst! and grinding the Fender Silver Bullet strings on Fender Strat, (couple of those on the cover art... ney I got more solid ones, but soft picks gave nice feel to jamn').  Played by me on Fender Start and Yamaha Electric bass. Used Line 6 Pod XT and B-52 LS-100 Head and 4x12 B-52 cab.

Musically here... I just play what I feel and like, like many. Translating _it_ into the best sound I could do at the moment, hoping to let out some of grooves and vibes boiling my head constantly. Might be messy, bumpy, puzzling, but this is what it is. By design. Crystal Ripples continues my "Impressionism in Music" series. I love to induce and provoke, rather than impose. All for creative listening experience, so we collab, co-create.... Thank you.

Fender Stratocaster finger picking and (slightly) distorted basslines and twangs. Tones are using Line 6 hardware Pod XT. Post Line6 and IK Multimedia Amplitube.  Korg Synths, including Gadget tool Brussels, which solemnly soloing at 0:50. All synths sounds transitions achieved by playing physical knobs on my Arturia controller. All 37 lines of guitars, perc, synth total are assembled in Ableton Live 9 and mastered with IK Multimedia.

Played my blue Fender Strat to signify the times, when Jimi Hendrix was grinding his teeth over his black one. Pushing flowers to the guns with Electronic and Psychedelic Rock is still needed. Imagined all thru my prism of future Deep Disco and Indie Dance vibe. Drums and all prod done in Ableton Live, mastering with IK Multimedia tools.

I grabbed kick and snare, tweaked bass synth for a jamming in Korg Gadget app on iPhone 6s. My Depeche Mode piece of DNA turned the thing into a session of interpretation for “I See You” too fast. I noticed the hook turns alike this fab song from my fav 1982 album “A Broken Frame”. I submit and had a blast!

100% organic Korg Gadget sound. Literally two lines. Drum and Bass (but not that DnB one). First is drum machine spirited beats, London. Second bad ass bass from gadget Dublin. Single bass track because synth notes choke and fight each other this way. Small post treatment in Ableton Live 9.7 for more fun. British and White Channel compressors by IK Multimedia. T-Racks Classic EQ, Plate and Hall Reverb CSR, Quad Image IK tools. Automated.

In childhood we were watching thru the stars with my school bud. Exiting atmosphere, riding deep and cold vacuum (and I don't mean a vacuum cleaner :) ... mentally expanding our presence to far outer-space. Until  rock comes up to your throat. Thinking, - How huge the whole thing is?
